Software I use, gadgets I love, and other things I recommend.

Staying productive and happy is all about having the right tools for the job. Here are some of the things I use every day to get things done.

Workstation

  • Lenovo ThinkPad T14s Gen 4

I was using an M1 MacBook Air for a while but something didn’t feel right. I missed the ThinkPad keyboard and the ability to run Linux. So I switched back to a ThinkPad and I’m happy again.

  • MSI PRO MP341CQ

I’m not a fan of curved monitors but this one offers a lot while not being too expensive. I like the 21:9 aspect ratio for coding and writing.

  • Logitech MX Master 3S

I’ve tried a lot of mice over the years but I always come back to the MX Master. It’s just the most comfortable for me.

  • Logitech MX Keys Mini

Compact, comfortable, and with a great typing experience. Big fan of multiple computers with one keyboard.

Development tools

  • Visual Studio Code

I’ve tried a lot of editors but I always come back to VS Code. It’s just the most comfortable for me with the right balance of features and support.

  • GhostTTY

I’ve been using GhostTTY for a while now and it’s been great. I love the simplicity and the fact that it’s just a terminal app.

  • Termius

Having to manage a lot of servers, I need a good SSH client. Termius offers a great balance of features and simplicity.

Productivity

  • Google Calendar

I don’t plan every minute of my day but I do like to have a good overview of what’s coming up. Google Calendar is great for that.

  • Clockify

Measuring time is important for me and clients. Clockify is simple time-tracking software that helps me keep track of my time.
